Get to know Aimee
I'm a words kinda girl. I love long conversations, getting lost in a good book, and using my words to teach and write - and if I can do it all with a good coffee in hand (and some chocolate) then that's even better!
I count myself blessed to get to do life with the handsome guy in the pic with me, Dave. We've been married 18 years and together have 4 children - Destiny (24), Misha (13), Isabelle (10) and Lucas (4). And just in case you think it's all starting to sound a little too peachy, rest assured that just like you we've been on a journey - a journey of embracing God's goodness in the good, the bad and the ugly that life has thrown our way!
In what feels like another lifetime, I studied Law and Arts and went on to work in business management and HR. I had the privilege of being an Elim NZ ordained pastor from 2011-2017, and served for a number of years as the Associate Pastor at our local Elim Church before stepping down to focus on my family and writing. In 2019, I accepted the role of Community Manager and resident Bible Teacher for The Joyful Life Magazine. I am passionate about God's Word and seeing people's lives transformed as they encounter His truth.
I could sum it all up by saying that I love God, love people and love my morning coffee (which is lovingly made and brought to me in bed by my man every morning - told you he was awesome)!
